Hello,
Just happened upon your blog here. I was just advised to write to the coroner to obtain the inquest for my great-grandfather who died in Cook County jail in 1912. He was 38 years old and left behind five young children, one being my grandmother. Such mystery surrounded this as you can imagine. I am wondering the address where I should mail my request along with his death certificate. Would it be this address?

I appreciate your help!

Laura, do you use any specific genealogy tree program? I saw you mentioned you had a spreadsheet for your one grandfather and I saw all your sources listed.
