Ancestors in my family tree who married in May include:

My 2nd great grand-uncle Gustaf TOLF married Nettie JOHNSON 17 May 1879 in Batavia, Kane, Illinois, USA. Gustaf’s sister Frida Katrina TOLF and Carl Johan YOUNGBERG were married in on 07 May 1887. Gustaf, Frida and Carl were born in Svenarum, Jönköping, Sweden. Gustaf and Nettie had seven children. Frida and Carl had two children; Lawrence Charles YOUNGBERG and Myrtle Alvira YOUNGBERG.

Gustaf and Frida’s niece Eva Matilda TOLF married Carl Clifford HEDRICK 31 May 1913 in Illinois.

Another Swedish 2nd great grand-uncle Johan Willhelm LANDSTROM and Olivia Karolina WIND were married 12 May 1888 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA. John’s younger brother Carl Werner LANDSTROM married Mamie NILSON on 12 May 1894 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois USA. John and Carl were born in Norra Sandsjö, Jonkopings, Sweden and immigrated to the United States in the late 1800s.

In another of my Swedish lines, my 2nd great-grandmother Maja Stina KARLSDOTTER married Karl Johan Andersson MOLIN 28 May 1880. Maja was born in Börstil, Uppsala, Sweden where she had four children before she and Karl were married. The couple had two (more?) children together. The four children born before 1880 (Maria Josephina, Carl Magnus,  Johanna Kristina, and Johan) immigrated to the US as young adults. The younger two (Agnes and Henning Bernhard) remained in Sweden.

My 2nd great grand-uncle John Henry LITTRELL married Sarah E DRUMAN in Shelby, Ohio, USA on 15 May 1883. The couple had one daughter who lived to adulthood; Bessie F LITTRELL who married William Harrison McMAHON.

My English 4th great grandparents Thomas WALTON and Abigail CRAIG were married in Nest, Alston, Cumberland, England  23 May 1808. The couple had at least six children before immigrating to the Isle of Man where at least two more children were born. Their Manx son George WALTON married Margaret CORLETT in Lonan on the Isle of Man 21 May 1831. George and Margaret had at least eight children, all born in Lonan.

My Manx 2nd great grandparents James WALTON and  Isabella JOUGHIN were married in Maughold, Garff, Isle of Man on 26 May 1870. The following year James, Isabella and their infant son James immigrated to the US, settling in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio.
