• My great-grandmother Ellen Gertrude Clarke was born in Springfield, Clark, Ohio 09 Jun 1883. She died in Chicago, Cook, Illinois at the age of 65. Gertrude’s nieces Dorothy V Clarke (05 Jun 1918) and Zora Susan Clarke (24 Jun 1898) were born in Chicago, Cook, Illinois. Their parents were Elmer Eugene Clarke and Susan Berg.

Birthdays among my Swedish Landstroms:

• Twins Klas Alfrid and Oskar Fredrik Landstrom were born 03 Jun 1870 in Jönköping County Sweden. Both immigrated to Chicago, Cook, Illinois where they worked as blacksmiths.

Birthdays among my French Schmitts;

• You may think Edith (my half first-cousin twice-removed) should appear under the Muellers, but Edith’s father Otto V. Mueller was actually born Otto V. Bidenharn. Otto’s mother was my 2nd great-grandmother Elisabeth Schmitt. Edith M Mueller (a Schmitt descendant) was born in Chicago, Cook, Illinois on 19 Jun 1903.

Birthdays among my Swedish Tolfs:

• A 2nd great grand-uncle Frans Magnus Tolf was born in Svenarum, Jönköping, Sweden 13 Jun 1852. His nephew Carl Henry Tolf was born 11 Jun 1880 in Batavia, Kane, Illinois. Carl’s father was Gustaf Tolf. Two more of Frans’ nephews were born in Batavia; Fred C Swanson (20 Jun 1886) and Roy Herbert Swanson (16 Jun 1888). Fred and Roy’s mother was Carolina Fredrika Tolf.
