The following information appeared on page 7 of the February 15, 1894 issue of the Chicago Daily News;
“Died of His Injuries; John Mulkofsky, a Polish boy 15 years old, residing with his parents at 120 Front street, died this morning from injuries received on the Northwestern tracks at Sangamon street yesterday morning.
Both his legs were cut off above the knees. He was removed to the county hospital, where he died early this morning. The body lies at the county morgue awaiting the coroner’s inquest.”
“ADAMS-At Mobile, Ala., WILLIAM P., beloved husband of Belle Adams, 408-1/2 Congress-st., aged 44 years. Funeral notice hereafter.”
“BROWNE-At the parochial residence of the Annunciation church, 829 N. Pauline-st., Feb. 13, 1894, the Very Rev. J. J. Browne, of Mobile, Ala., aged 53 years. Funeral Friday, at 10 a.m., from the Annunciation church to the Illinois Central depot. Alabama and Wisconsin papers please copy.”
“CASEY-JOHN, beloved husband of Mary Casey (nee Clifford), aged 50 years, native of Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland. Funeral from his late residence, 330 Center-av., Friday, Feb. 16, 1894, at 9:30 to Jesuit church where requiem mass will be celebrated, thence by cars to Calvary; union depot.”
“FRANCIS-Feb. 14, 1894, Mrs. JULIA FRANCIS (nee Riley), beloved daughter of James Riley of County Kerry, Ireland, at her sister’s residence, 108 Miller-st., at 10:30 a.m., aged 26 years and 9 months. Funeral Friday, 10 a.m., from above residence, to Jesuit church, thence by carriages to Calvary.“
“HEALEY-At her residence, 1011 W. Madison-st., KATE, beloved wife of the late John Healey and mother of Mrs. M. Aldrich, Mrs. W. Scheeley, Cornelius Healey and sister of Mrs. Margaret Cull [Margaret’s surname is very difficult to read – this may not be the correct spelling.] Funeral Friday morning to St. Malachy’s church, where high mass will be celebrated, thence by cars to Calvary, by M. & St. P. R.R.”

“LARGE-At 81 Churchill-st., Feb. 14, MATTIE W., daughter of Hamilton and the late Elvira Large, and sister of Preston Large, Ray, Laura and Mrs. Phil Petrie; aged 19 years. Funeral Friday, at 1 p.m.”
“M’LAUGHLIN-Feb. 15, 1894, FRANKIE, beloved son of John F. and Maggie McLaughlin (nee Coffey), aged 9 months. Funeral Friday, Feb. 16, at 10 o’clock sharp, from residence of parents, 149 S. Robey-st., by carriages to Calvary. “
