The following death notices appeared on page 7 of the May 30, 1894 issue of the Chicago Daily News;
“AMBRUSTER-May 28, 1894, LANDONIN, beloved husband of Dorothea Ambruster, aged 54 years and 8 months. Funeral from his late residence, 49 Fullerton-av., Thursday, May 31, at 2 p.m., to Rose Hill cemetery.”
“DEVINE-May 29, JOHN, son of Patrick and Ellen Devine (nee Hanley), aged 25 years and 4 months. Funeral Thursday, May 31, from his late residence, 397 S. May-st., to Jesuit church, thence by carriages to union depot and by cars to Calvary.”
“FOUNTAIN-May 29, LUCY EMMA, beloved daughter of William and Sarah Fountain, aged 23 years and 8 months. Funeral Thursday, May 31, at 2 p.m., from late residence, 666 Sheffield-av., to Rose Hill.
“HALLY-At his residence, 93 Lincoln-av., May 28, 1894, MICHAEL M. HALLY, aged 55 years. Funeral Thursday, at 11 o’clock, to Church of the Immaculate Conception; carriages to Calvary.”
“HOGLUND-May 29, 1894, IDA HOGLUND (nee Lundgren), beloved wife of C.E. Hoglund, aged 33 years 9 months and 5 days. Funeral from late residence, 110 DeKalb-st., Friday, June 1, 1894, at 2 p.m., to Graceland.”
“HONAHAN-At residence, 663 North Park-av., WILLIAM J., beloved husband of Maggie Honahan (nee Meagher), member of Court America No. 23 I.O.F. Funeral Thursday, at 9:30 to Church of the Immaculate Conception, thence by carriages to Calvary.”
