1894 Obituaries: June 15

The following notices of death appeared on page 8 of the June 15, 1894 issue of the Chicago Daily News;

“BIERMANN-June 14, AUGUST W., beloved husband of Wilhelmine Biermann (nee Eckermann), aged 35 years 4 months and 8 days. Funeral will take place from his late residence, 18 Almond-st., on Sunday, June 17, at 1 p.m.”

“WARBOYS-June 14, EDGERTON A. WARBOYS, at the residence of his sister, Mrs. T.J. Farmer, 1224 W. Adams-st., member of Central Park lodge K. of P., aged 28 years. Funeral Sunday, at 11 a.m., by carriages to Rose Hill cemetery.”

The following notices of death appeared on page 9 of the June 15, 1894 issue of the Chicago Daily News;

“BUECHELE-At his residence, 185 Larrabee-st., Wednesday morning, June 13, 1894, ADOLPH BUECHELE, member of Court Columbia 76, I.O.F.  Funeral services Saturday afternoon, June 16, at 1 o’clock. Interment at Waldheim.”

“CASSIDY-June 15, 1894, FRANCIS JAMES, the dearly beloved son of Patrick and Kate Cassidy (nee Murray), aged 8 months. Funeral from parents’ residence, 3638 State-st., Sunday, 10 o’clock, by carriages to Calvary.”

“COUGHLIN- June 15, 1894, at his residence, 3162 Ashland-av., THOMAS, beloved husband of Mary Ann Coughlin (nee Daley), aged 37 years and 4 months. Member of A.O.U.W. No. 243 and member of I.O.F. No. 127. Funeral Sunday, June 17, at 9 o’clock.”

“CULLEN- June 15, 1894, LAWRENCE, brother of Patrick and Peter Cullen, native of County Wicklow, Ireland. Funeral Saturday, June 16, from his late residence, 274 Peoria-st., by carriages to Calvary.”

“FERGUSON-June 12, 1894, GEORGE, beloved son of John and Kittie Ferguson. Funeral from parents’ residence, 404 31st-st., Sunday, June 17, at 2 p.m., to Oakwoods.”

“FITZPATRICK-MICHAEL, beloved husband of Mary Fitzpatrick (nee Tracy), native Tipperary, Ire. Funeral from his late residence, 33 Spruce-st., Saturday, June 16, to Jariath’s church, thence by C., M. & St. P., cars to Calvary.”

“HOLLAND-June 14, 1892, at 530 42d-st., MARY, mother of John Holland and Mrs. Thomas Boyce, aged 98 years. Funeral Saturday at 11 a.m. to St. Gabriel’s church, thence to 49th and Halsted-st. depot and thence by cars to Mount Olivet.”

“HUTCHINSON-At 133 S. Sacramento-sv., June 14, at 4:20 p.m., Dr. MURRAY W. HUTCHINSON. Notice of funeral hereafter.”

“M’CONNELL-At 7419 Honore-st., June 15, 1894, LILLIE BELLE, daughter of E.C. and Luella T. McConnell, aged 15 years and 5 months. Funeral private.”

“MILLER-June 14, 1894, Officer P. G. Miller, aged 56 years and 8 months. Funeral from his late residence, 116 Edgemont-av., at 1 p.m., Sunday, June 17, to Waldheim.”

“RIORDAN-FRANCIS J., beloved husband of Eliza Riordan, aged 64 years and 4 months, member of Father Mathews T. A. & B. society. Funeral from his late residence, 202 Forqner-st., Sunday, June 17, to Holy Family church, thence via C., M. & St. P. R. R. to Calvary.”

“STUART-June 13, 1894, DAVID A. STUART. Funeral private, June 15, to vault at Graceland cemetery.”

“SULLIVAN-June 14, 1894, MAGGIE, beloved daughter of Dennis and Kate Sullivan (nee O’Hearron), aged 2 years and 3 months. Funeral Saturday at 11 a.m., from parents’ residence, 3752 Butler-st., by cars to Mount Olivet.”

“TANKE-MARCELLA EMMA JULIETTE, aged 2 years and 4 months, beloved daughter of Ernest J. Tanke and his late wife Nataly (nee Lawson).  Funeral Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, from parents’ residence, 198 Wells-st.”

“WERTZ-June 15, 1894, at 306 Laflin-st., LILLIAN MARGUERITE, youngest daughter of Peter and Frances Wertz, aged 2 months. Funeral notice hereafter.”
