The following notices of death appeared on page 7 of the July 25, 1894 issue of the Chicago Daily News;

“ARCHIBALD-July 25, 1894, MARTIN, brother of Lawrence Archibald, native of Richardstown, parish of Mownstronon, County Kildare, Ireland, aged 58. Funeral Friday, July 27, at 10 o’clock, from his late residence, 31 Commercial-st., to the Annunciation church, where high mass will be celebrated, thence by carriages to Calvary.”

“BEANS-HAZEL EDNA MILDRED BEANS. Funeral July 25, at 2 p.m. to Mount Olive. Philadelphia (Pa.) papers please copy.”

“CONWAY-At her residence, 3138 Union-av., July 24, 1894, MARY CONWAY (nee Gavin), beloved wife of John Conway and mother of Walter, Patrick and Edward Conway, Mary Keenan, Annie Lane and Maggie Keenan and sister of Michael Gavin. Funeral notice hereafter.”

“DOWD-July 24, 1894, at 4512 Paulina-st., NORAH, daughter of John and Norah Dowd (nee Fitzgerald), aged 10 months. Funeral Thursday, July 26, from above number to Mount Olivet.”

“HOEY-July 25, MAGGIE M., beloved daughter of James and Maggie Hoey (nee Ryan). Funeral Saturday 9:30 from parents’ residence, 3000 Deering-st., to St. Bridget’s church, thence by carriages to Calvary. South Boston (Mass.) and Custer (Mich.) papers please copy.”
